Back then, being voted "MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED" in high school only brought on anxiety and pressure. Obviously, others saw things in me that I couldn't see in myself at the time. I was creative and had the mindset of an entrepreneur, harboring what some might call a "million dollar dream", which felt farfetched coming from where I grew up.
It wasn't until I started studying at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA, that I looked around and saw so many students with BIGGER dreams than I could imagine. They came from entrepreneurial family backgrounds, having attended debutante balls and private privilege events, and paid their tuitions in full — everything was upper-echelon, and nothing seemed unattainable to them.
Seeing entrepreneurs succeed at things I loved to do as my weekend hobbies, like learning web design and writing, and breaking free from the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle—I wanted in! All I needed was to be around those who embraced non-traditional careers to give me that extra push. I'm a FIRM BELIEVER in getting every f*cking experience I desire out of life! Without question, I decided to go for my Master's in writing at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA to become a TV writer.
After mastering the art of storytelling, I put everything I learned in grad school into everything I design, using stories to sell. I create brands and narratives that stick with people. After all, my mission is to make your brand unforgettable and attract your dream clients!
